Hi! I am Pritee and I am the Practice Manager here at Smiles and Faces Orthodontics, Blacktown. I have been working here since 2017, having previously worked with a general dentist for two years.
Seeing patients smiles transform makes my job feel so much more rewarding. Since joining Dr. Chang and the Smiles and Faces Orthodontics team I have found Orthodontics the most rewarding industry. Behind the scenes, I spend a lot of time on administrative support and organising training, coaching and education for all our team members to keep up to date with latest technology and techniques to improve our customer care.
Beside work life, I enjoy spending time with my family and especially my 4.5 year old daughter and now my 1 year old son, travelling and I have a special interest in cultural dance and performances.

Welcome! My name is Karly and I’m one of the Treatment Coordinators at Smiles and Faces. My role consists of reception duties, facilitating new patient consultations, as well as minor dental assisting.
I enjoy meeting new faces and creating a rapport with our patients so that they feel comfortable at every visit.
On the weekends you’ll find me spending time with my husband, family and friends, and taking my pup Millie on bushwalks. I also like to dabble in photography in my spare time. “It’s the little things in life”.

Although this is a new role for me, I’m no stranger to busy workplaces and thrive in fast-paced environments, relishing the opportunity to learn new skills along the way. I absolutely love interacting with patients and their families, getting to know their unique journeys. When you visit our practice, you will find me at front desk, helping you book your next consultation, answering your calls, or welcoming you with a warm smile. Outside of work, I’m a busy bee, managing my studies and continuously expanding my knowledge. And when I do manage to find some downtime, you can catch me enjoying a bit of retail therapy or simply unwinding at home with my favorite movies and some tasty snacks. .
Hello there! I’m Kristyn, and I joined the incredible team at Smiles and Faces Orthodontics in 2019.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to grow within the company and take on various roles. Initially, I spent two years as part of the clinical team, and now I’m actively involved in the marketing department. I have a genuine passion for acquiring new skills and expanding my knowledge in different areas, all with the aim of providing the best possible support to our patients and team members.
One of the most rewarding parts of working at Smiles and Faces Orthodontics is witnessing our patients’ transformative journeys. From starting their orthodontic treatment as children to becoming confident teenagers and adults, it’s incredible to see their growth. We are proud to create a compassionate environment where patients feel comfortable, fostering their confidence throughout the treatment. It’s truly heartwarming when a nervous young patient returns for their next appointment excited and proud, sharing improvements in oral hygiene or successful adaptation to their new appliance.
When I’m not at work, you’ll often find me and my partner happily chasing after our toddler. We enjoy spending quality time together at parks and splash parks, taking leisurely walks along the Nepean River with our dog, or embarking on family adventures to local fishing spots. And of course, a BBQ is always a great way for us to unwind and savor those precious moments together.
I’m Iza and I am one of the Senior Oral Health Therapists on the Orthodontics Team, Blacktown. I graduated from the University of Sydney and was awarded the Johnson & Johnson Pacific Prize for the highest mark obtained in overall areas of study throughout the Bachelor of Oral Health Degree and the NSW Dental Therapy Association Award for the Highest Achieving Student in Third Year. Prior to this, I also completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science in 2008.
I have a deep passion for the dental field, and before becoming an Oral Health Therapist, I spent four years working as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist. My journey has provided me with valuable experience in Dental Hygiene, Dental Therapy, and Orthodontics. Since joining the team in 2013, I have been fortunate to work alongside Dr. Chang and Dr. Daniela, collaborating to perform orthodontic procedures and provide exceptional care to our patients. It fills me with immense pride to be part of a team dedicated to delivering the highest level of service.
What I love about working at Smiles and Faces is being part of patient’s journey, not just helping them to achieve straight teeth, but witnessing the change in their lives as they become more confident in showing their smiles. I love that we get to be a part of our patients’ lives as they share their stories and aspirations. It’s wonderful to know that they have chosen us to help them in their journey to a beautiful smile.
Outside of orthodontic adjustments and taking off braces and attachments (which I love the most!), I enjoy going on food trips and travelling the world with my family and 2 adorable kids!
Hi! I’m Adriana and I’m one of the Dental Hygienists.
I studied at Newcastle University of Australia, completing a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2009 with a strong focus on improving patient oral hygiene and extensive clinical training and experience in a range of specialised dental procedures.
As a Dental Hygienist at Smiles and Faces Orthodontics you will see me working alongside Dr Chang assisting with your Orthodontic treatment. I will be assisting Dr Chang and the team during all stages of your orthodontic journey and as a team we will do all we can to ensure that your treatment and experience at Smiles and Faces is pleasant and comfortable.
Whilst our focus is always on achieving excellent state of the art orthodontic treatment, the best part of our job at Smiles and Faces Orthodontics is seeing our patients transform at the same time as their smile does!
When I’m not assisting you during your treatment, I like to spent time with family at the beach, camping or anywhere outdoors.
I am Rita and I am one of the Oral Health Therapists for Smiles and Faces Orthodontics, Blacktown. I have completed my Bachelor Degree at the University of Newcastle in 2020. Since graduation I have developed an extensive experience in a range of general and specialised procedures.
I joined the team in 2022 and I assist Dr. Chang and Dr. Daniela in providing care for our patients. I love working with the team, treating patients and watching the changes in patients smiles with each and every appointment. It is an honor to be part of transforming our patients smiles and seeing the joy in their faces at the completion of their journey.

Greetings! My name is Auske and I came aboard the Smiles and Faces Orthodontics Blacktown team as a Dental Assistant in 2018.
I am deeply enthusiastic about Dental Assisting, and I have a diverse educational background that includes a Cert III in Dental Assisinting from TAFE Nepean, a Diploma in Accounting, and an Engineering Degree. This unique combination of skills and knowledge allows me to bring a well-rounded perspective to my role. I take immense pride in my work and consistently strive to update my expertise, particularly in aligner treatments.
One of the aspects I adore about working at Smiles and Faces Orthodontics is the lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Creating happiness among our younger patients holds great significance to me. Each day, I find joy in assisting patients as they choose their color bands, don their cool sunglasses, and engage with our youngest patients through playful interactions like ‘pinky promises.’ It’s these moments that make my day truly special and rewarding.
When outside the practice, I am living the Mum life with my young daughters, having just had a baby last year. Spending time with my family is the most important part of my world and I love every minute with them.

I love the fun and exciting atmosphere that we have created for all of our patients. As a patient myself, my favourite part of the week is seeing faces light up after the braces are removed and seeing the transformations.
