At Smiles and Faces Orthodontics we respect the goals of our patients and aim to ensure we finish your treatment on time and help maintain your straight teeth. Our consultation process first starts with a conversation about you, and yourself. We are not aligned to any product or process so this is focused on you and your needs.
We are about informed choices, and understand the thought of having teeth removed can scare people. Dr Chang has special expertise towards fewer teeth removal techniques. We are transforming smiles, one
person, one smile at a time. This often means:
- For kids and early teens a focus on establishing their jaws in the right positions and preventing the late side effects that come from moderate to severely crowded teeth, which can be significant. This can often have better breathing & health benefits.
- For teens, considering one’s needs, remaining growth and health status of individual teeth in creating a plan to straighten your teeth using effective methods, and respects the presence or absence of wisdom teeth.
- Adults: maintaining teeth while enhancing or maintaining your face balance is our priority, using discreet braces or clear aligners solutions (ie: Invisalign® etc) and new technologies to help treatment finish on time or earlier.
